| The meeting lasted 2 hours and input was provided from Onyx, Bromley Council and the Environment Agency. There were 5 invited residents represented the Beaconsfield Road side of the site and Carlyle Avenue / Mornington Avenue side. Minutes of the actions agreed were taken by Onyx, though have yet to be distributed to the attendees. There were several small actions that Onyx agreed would be implemented within the next 3 months, prior to the next residents meeting (Feb 06). 1. Adjust the new lights within the CA site so that they do not shine outside the boundaries of the site. This would be done by both adjusting where they are pointing and adding shields around the lights. 2. Speak to the staff to ask them to not shout and swear especially early in the mornings. 3. Try to not use the mechanical shovel before 8am 4. Ask the lorry drivers not to use the the horns on their vehicles 5. Put up signs on the site asking the public to consider the neighbours when on the site particularly in relation to dropping rubbish into the green containers. 6. More advertising within the site showing other recycling sites within the borough. 7. Turn the sprinkler / odouriser on whenever there is any activity within the tipping shed (as per Section 8.3 of Onyx's Waste disposal licence)
As yet we have not had any notification from Onyx, the Environment Agency or Bromley to confirm that any of the above have now been actioned.
